i have an 02 379 with a 6nz. I got to my delivery backed in the door and when i got the green light the truck wont start, It turns over just doesn't start... Has fuel, all the fluids are filled. I checked with the cruise control to see if there were any codes, but the check engine light wont even turn on.....I was told by the driver next to me that the starter probably has a short and its not letting the ecm get any juice. Has anyone heard of this.

I did have problems last night when i went to park, when i turned on the turning signals the dashboard lights, were flashing and when i put the hazards on they just stayed on and didnt flash... but this morning everything was fine

    Any ideas?

Timing sensor in top front of the cam gear might be bad.
Spray some starting fluid in the air cleaners.

check your batts...i mean everything that goes wrong on a truck is fuel related, but this sounds light a short especially if you were having batt problems. Check the connection to the bats and see if any wire is bare. Look underneath for any bare or exposed wire. Does turning your light on or off while cranking make a difference?

If the check engine light doesn't come on it could be a bad ignition relay, this is common with the KW, so would be an easy check, just swap it with the accessory relay in your fuse panel, also check the 5 amp ecm fuse while in there.

Check the wire at the transfer pump? Might not be supplying fuel.

When you say it turns over.. does it turn over 1 time or keep turning over like it is not getting fuel? I know on my old pete I had there was a solenoid on the firewall by the brake valve (the footvalve the one with all the colored lines on it) and you could make a jumper wire to touch don't connect it.. and it would bypass the ignition .. but if you do this don't leave it touching both sides.. told a guy to do this last month and he did .. Truck started and he burned his starter up and almost caught the truck on fire...
