tach output wire

    On my 99 379 with a c15 6nz im trying to find the tach output wire im trying to put in a remote starter thanks

    The tach is ran off a two wire sensor screwed into the rear structure of the engine. Reads off the flywheel teeth. It could be on either right or left side, about the 5 or 7 o'clock position. I was thinking usually right side on that one.

    We are having the same trouble for the same reason. Ours is an '06 though and has the plugs with the pins. Any thoughts?
