Hi All ! I've got something going on that I need help with. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm guessing it's the clutch. Empty or loaded, when taking off it feels like it's not in gear.
If I give it more accelerator it helps. Sometimes I have to engage the differential lock to move. This doesn't happen all the time, but maybe 75%. Please help !
Slipping clutch ???? ????

air sup. might be over/extended when it happens get out and look at air bags, also is any free play at top of clutch.

If locking the power divider in helps I don't think it's clutch. Usually when a clutch slips if you let of the throttle and feather back into it it helps. Just hitting the throttle makes it slip worse. Any noises or strange smells like something burning

thanks baha ! you'll need to school me, because I don't get the air suspension being over extended part. and yes, I seem to have normal free play of the clutch pedal.

baha; thank you, thank you, thank you !!!! !!!! I THINK THAT YOU MIGHT BE RIGHT ! when I went to start the truck this morning, I thought that there was a huge gap between the tires and the trailer. I just thought ---- "well that's weird". YOU ARE A GENIUS !!!! !!!!
baha Thanks this. -
If your leveling valve is acting bad it's probably shocks. Look for oil leaks around shock absorbers.
