I have a 2000 peterbilt 377 set forward axle and im wanting to put a different hood on it. does anyone know what my options are? is it possible to move the location of the front axle?
what other hoods will fit my 2000 377 sfa??

I'm not 100% positive, but I think you should be able to put a regular (short) 379 hood on it. I would find a 379 to park next to & get out a tape measure.

A 379 hood ends past the tire. A 377 is unique as it ends above the tire.
Here's a 377 hood with a little work to give you an idea what you can do. You can almost go with any headlights after you fill the holes.

heres the thing mine is a set forward axle. my hood is different. the one it that picture is a set back axle

I found a 379 short hood that was 60 inches long and mine measures 63.5 inches

A 379 short hood is 119 inches BBC, 377sfa is 122 inches BBC and the 379 ext hood is 127 inches BBC

ok thanks yall. what about a 378 hood? I met a lady a while back that put one on her 377 but didn't get to talk to her long enough to see what all she had to change

Delraydriver,Here's my 2cents worth! My dad had a truck like your's he was always told that the 378 hood was the only 1 you could use on the 377sfa!
