Speedometer

    1999 Peterbilt 377, speedometer needle bouncing or not working at all. Where do I start looking. Thanks in advance.

    I'd start with the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor)

    Have you used the search feature? I fixed mine by reading the information already posted. . My sensor was sticking into the transmission. 07 386. Not sure if your 1999 is the same.

    Thanks for the advice. No info for that subject. I will keep it in mind in the future.

    Try changing the speed sensor. It is located at the rear of tranny on top of output shaft
