MMy cruise control, which worked up till yesterday, now throws up a message on the dash PRESS AND RELEASE CLUTCH BEFORE ENGAGING CRUISE CONTROL. I press and release continously but get same message. This is a 2013 pete. Thanks j

Does the message go away if you put your foot under the clutch pedal and pull? I agree with Jaguar though.

Do these newer trucks still have these Berger Buttons behind the clutch/break pedal bars? If so, that is what these guys are talking about...some times they come loose and just need tightened.

This is a 1 year old truck, at a cost of $120K (or more) and problems are starting already. Sorry, give me my old '72 (below) with a metal rod from the pedal to the pump, and our "cruise control" was the throttle lock.

the newer trucks generally require a brake pedal one time before cruise activates.
