Hello all I have 07-08 Peterbilt 389. My problem is at a stop my speedometer will sometimes bounce up and down from 0 to about 3. It is a problem when I attempt to do a regen. The regen will start and if the needle moves it kicks off. Rush Truck center in San Diego do not know why. That is no surprise from that place. But I would think someone else has had this same issue. Thanks

See if you have a hole in the exhaust near the tranny rear.

Make sure the yoke is tight, if the yoke is loose, the VSS tone ring can vibrate around and show a few MPH.

You can also try doing it with the trans in high range. Sounds dumb, but our Petes with the Namux guage system bounce the speedo when you split the gears or change range sitting still. They all do it, I do not know why. The Namux is really sensitive I guess. The high/low range and or splitter shock the tail shaft a little and one way or the other helps keep it still.
