I installed new front brake shoes and drums on my 2006 Pete. I got a 20,000 pound axle. Bought all parts from Peterbilt. Brakes worked good for a couple of week, then they started to squeal which seems normal. Now sometimes they chatter. Its almost like the shoes are to hard. It does not do it all the time. Seems like right front is the worst. I took the drum back off twice and can't seem to find nothing wrong. HELP......

Do you have the correct springs on the shoes. If you used old springs they may be weak or stretched.

Did you torque the wheel nuts when you put them back on ? not doing that with drum brakes can cause a slight warp on the drum that would give a judder or chatter when braking although you'd almost have it immediately after you fit the wheel, simple to fix....loosen the nuts and re-torque them, only takes a few minutes so worth a try
