Hi drivers need some help was driving today and kept hearing whistling noises. Seemed to do it consistently when I accelerated or rapped out the rpm. Pretty quick I notice the whistling stopped and I certain I heard a Loud pop like a rush of air. I was empty and struggling get up small grades. I went and got my load and could barely move the truck up the hill. Truck is in excellent shape 846k. Please help

Air to air exchanger leaking or hopefully something simple like a hose busted. That causes your turbo boost not to work. Good luck

Sounds like a blown CAC hose. You have 4 (2 on each side). The most common CAC hose to blow on those is the one right after the precooler. It is very close to the pipe that goes to the air cleaners and I've seen many rub there. If it blew because it chaffed through, adjust the pipes a bit to get at least 1/2" of clearance in there.

Thank you. That's exactly what it was but hard to see initially as it blew around the edge of the clamp. Thanks
