need help and advice. injectors 3406e!!!!!

How many miles on the current set of injectors? $379 sounds pretty cheap but that doesn't answer your question if Dephi's are any good, I personally try to use Cat stuff myself. I did 6 injectors on my '03 C 15 last year (1million miles) $4500 but that included several dyno pulls and an ECM clean up and uprate.

IMO if you can swing it put 6 injectors in, part of the labor is already there and if they're a decent shop they should run the entire O/H even putting in 3.

Where did you get the tune up done too?
Sound like they went all out to fine tune the output.

 

I would try to replace with 10r8502. They run a little
hotter but you will be happy. I have them in one truck with 6nz 550 brakesaver file running SDP acert block and that truck pounds the ground, good mileage and stays cool, rolls black smoke on take off. I read your other post and would not surprise me if your injector harness is your problem. Cutout can give false readings if wiring is junk. You can switch injectors and see if problem follows injector or stays in cylinder. Electro diesel in laredo Texas will exchange 300 each and I have had very good success with them, I have no past experience with a bosch brand injector other than what's in my land rover and it's doing fine.

I had a cat do the same I found that the injector that goes in a ford 105 dollars will work but
U may also try hotshot secret to stop sticking injectors

 

What maggard359 said check your harness. Guy I'm leased to had one chew up two injectors in same hole. They found a rubbed wire in harness,where it turns to the motor.
