Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

The funny part of it is no one said only republicans join the
military in the first place. Its funny to see libs feed off each
others hate.....

But it is true that the military does vote much more republican than
than democrat.

Considering that most of the military is lead/brainwashed to believe that the commander in cheif is the GOD of the military, and no matter what he says or does "Is Right" and you cant argue with that. And another thing, the soldiers do not get news from Air America, or the Jones network. From what I understand about Iraq, the "Stars and Stripes" (republican) is it for new radio.
But, the main reason I responded to this "non-sense"
On Nov. 2nd, 2006. The Dems took control over both houses of Congress. They didn't do this because alot of democrats went to the polls. They took control because not only dems, voted democrat. But Republicans voted democrat, veterans voted democrat, soldiers voted democrat. College students who didnt care about politics 3 years ago, voted democrat. They did this to change not only the occupation in Iraq (AKA...Republican/contractor fund raiser) but to get the corruption out of government.
So far, nothing has really been accomplished with the dems. But, nothing more corrupt has happened with the Republicans that hasn't been brought to the publics attention. Finally!!!!!!!!

I am not a member of move on...But to answer your question in a way that even a 2 yr old could understand:

Occupation in Iraq: We are an occupying force. We are not at war with the sunni's, shiites, or the kurds. We are there to provide security to them. Even though they are killing us. And to rebuild their infrastructure in which we and themselves keep destroying.

Republican Fund Raiser: $700,000,000,000...The Republicans have used this occupation to get re-elected since Bush started this in Iraq. They have given Bush every dime he has asked for. They have lied to us over and over when they say "Republican's are the only ones who can keep this country secure". Also, alot of Republican affiliated contractors have made billions upon billions off this occupation without fear of having to compete against lower bids. And then sub-contract out the work to contractors and make a huge proffit. When, if we would have just allowed bids, we could accually spend more money on body armor, better food, and more troops.

Your beloved Democrats are not immune from war profiteering. Feinstein is a hypocrit.

Actually, their real complaint is that the troops aren't brainwashed and are capable of making an informed decision. Anywhere you have people who aren't brainwashed and can think for themselves, you don't get many votes for the Democrats. Long time problem, not much of a solution in sight.
