Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

We Need More Terrorist Attacks

According to the head of the Arkansas republican party. I couldn't have made up a better story. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction.

Arkansas GOP head: We need more 'attacks on American soil' so people appreciate Bush Josh Catone
Published: Sunday June 3, 2007

In his first interview as the chairman of the Arkansas Republican Party, Dennis Milligan told a reporter that America needs to be attacked by terrorists so that people will appreciate the work that President Bush has done to protect the country.

"At the end of the day, I believe fully the president is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on [Sept. 11, 2001]," Milligan said to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, "and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country."

More terrorist attacks would weaken Bush's platform of defending this country. They will happen tho when the Dems get the presidency in 2008!! Then you Libs better go hide cause we're coming after you!!!

I wish I could get my hands on a clip of a Repub Preacher was explaining to his church that he as a Repub didn't want a big voter turn out as it would hurt the GOP candidates. Typical..between caging and the Religious right no wonder we have the mess we do.

As far as a terrorist attack again...what is really stopping one???So what if we're over there? it doesn't take but a handful to sneak in and do alittle damage. You think it would hurt Bush??NO..he would play his fear tactics yet again. Paranoid Repubs would flock to who ever he backs as the repub nominee.

Why go after the dems? What have they done to stop Bush from securing our borders, ending the occupation in Iraq? Bush has had cart-blanche on everything, and it's been given to him through his presidential powers and congress.
You need to look at where we are, and how we got here. And above all, who has been in charge of putting us where we are.
And thats the Rupublicans and George W. Bush.
