Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Maybe God Does Hate Flags LOL

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- A member of the Topeka church that protests soldier funerals has been arrested in Nebraska.

Police arrested Shirley Phelps-Roper on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after her ten-year-old son stomped on an American flag during a protest in Bellevue. The 49-year-old Phelps-Roper is a daughter of Westboro Baptist Church founder Fred Phelps.

Phelps-Roper isn't denying that she allowed the boy to stand on the flag, but she says the -- action is protected by the U-S Constitution.

Bellevue Police said a 1977 Nebraska statute makes it unlawful for a person to trample on a flag. Violating the law is a misdemeanor punishable by three months in jail and a 500-dollar fine.

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand I am glad she got arrested. On the other hand she is right about her action being protected.

I dont! America has totally abused the respect for country and mankind and is 'reaping the rewards' for it's conduct! The very thing that protects you will take you down in the future! SORRY!

I'm sure you are conflicted by this. I mean here they are spitting at the dead US soilders, and stomping on the flag in protest. Which is completely in line with Liberal ideals, but yet it's all about hating homosexuals. Which I'm sure really upsets you. I can see why you have mixed feelings.

The Constitution guarantees our Freedom of Speech and I support that. But how is stomping on OUR flag speech? As far as I know feet don't speak. Also was the flag drapped over the coffin of a serviceman? You may not like our policies but DO NOT disrespect the sacrifice that that young man or woman has made. It is because of our Service Members sacrifices that you have the Freedom of Speech, Assemble, etc.
Say what you want but keep your feet of of my Flag.
