House Passes Changes in Eavesdropping Program

Democrats are supposed to be in charge. I guess they will vote for anything as long as they get their full month off.

Democrats should be pissed at their leadership.

But with the Senate already in recess, Democrats confronted the choice of allowing the administration’s bill to reach the floor and be approved mainly by [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. or letting it die.
If it had stalled, that would have left Democratic lawmakers, long anxious about appearing weak on national security issues, facing an August spent fending off charges from Republicans that they had left Americans exposed to threats.

NO one has been caught from phone taps. Every threat the USA has had, including the pizza delivery, grocery baggers (who couldn't afford the weapons anyway) were all cought from someone reporting their activities. Not from phone tapping.
