First of all....NO ONE in the Bush Administration has EVER said that Saddam had anything to do with 9-11. Anyone who says so is disingenuous, and gets their 'Talking Points' directly from the DSP. (Democratic Socialist Party)

According to SEVERAL UN Resolutions, beginning with U.N. Resolution #1441, the UN HAD authorized the U.S. to use FORCE to make sure Saddam did NOT have WMD and was incapable of producing them.
Before the War, Congress voted OVERWHELMINGLY to allow GWB to use any method; including military action to make sure Saddam was compliant with several UN Resolutions (requiring him to destroy all stockpiles of WMD, to produce documentation that he had done so, and to allow inspectors verify this was done).
By voted OVERWHELMINGLY, I mean only one or two members of Congress voted against it.

IN ADDITION: The Iraq War (Gulf War III) is just a continuation of Gulf War II (during the Clinton years) and the Gulf War I (during GHWB's Administration) because we were only under a "cease-fire" signed contingent on Saddam's compliance with U.N. Resolution 1441

There is a LARGE difference between the two words you use:
ILLEGAL (used in a previous post)
and JUSTIFIED (used in the above post)
