Having the majority in Congress hold more weight than most people think. Even with the small majority that dems hold, they could still do one thing that would "MAKE" bush bring our soldiers home. If a vote is allowed on the floor to appropriate more money for Bush's war, then they would have to allow it. Dems would be forced to vote yes. They would be forced to give Bush more money than he deserves. But, having the majority, they don't have allow a vote. They don't have to allow a bill to hit the floor for a vote or even debate. How should that handle the neocon media spin. Just tell the media that they are doing what America voted them into power for. To bring the troops home. When the neocons start calling the dems un-american. Just ignore em, and call them liars. Call then unAmerica back. Because when America wants our troops home, and the republicans want to do what Bush wants them to do. Then thats un-american. If America wants it. then thats American. Dems don't have to play their games. When you play someone elses game, you usually lose.

I liken the situation as how does the mob fix a boxing fight? You don't just get one fighter in on the fix, you get both of them in on it. That way, you can guarantee the outcome. If only one of them is bought, the fight could still go against you.
A while back in the 1960's a history professor out of Georgetown, called Carrol Quigley, wrote a very lengthy and researched book called Tragedy and Hope, where he documented how the elite monied interests of the the US, and the world, bought out the the controlling interests in very crucial industries, including media and in both political parties. They created special think-tank organizations to process out up-n-coming politicians - to weed out the less than loyal ones, and to advance the ones who were more willing to play along. One of his most famous students was Bill Clinton, a Rhodes Scholar (chosen because he would help pursue an Anglo-American consolidation) - and Clinton even mentioned Quigley in several of his speeches when he became President.
Another author named Antony Sutton wrote several books outlining how these interests have manipulated wars and financial crises to mold society to their interests, not the peoples.
According to the information I have, all the candidates save Paul, Kucinich, and Gravel are members of globalist-oriented think tanks such as the CFR, the Trilaterals, or the Bilderbergs. And if by chance they are not members directly, they are certainly surrounded by advisers who are members of these political think tanks. They often have dual memberships in cross-connected groups.

In 1987, respected and award winning journalist Bill Moyers produced a documentary for PBS called “The Secret Government – The Constitution in Crisis.” In this ground-breaking documentary, he outlined the formation of this hidden shadow government.
