If ANYONE thinks this is a joke or more "propaganda" they are MISTAKEN! This is deadly serious and this world is sliding downhill fast. There are NO right answers here...this is extremely perplexing situation. Israel is making an "emergency" visit right now to Russia to discuss Iran. This is NOT a good situation. I think World War III is imminent and inevitable. Maybe Hillary will come in and make a peace deal when she gets elected? If you, or your family, brush this off and take this as a joke, you WILL forever regret it. The pieces ARE being placed right now for a worldwide collision of Biblical proportions. America...you are in DEEP poo!

Who is going to pull the trigger first and why?

What does the country that starts it think other countries will do in response?

Just remember, Mutually Assured Destruction has never been abandoned.

We can nuke anyone on the planet
Russia can nuke anyone on the planet
China probably can.
A host of others have regional firepower.

Who else is going to start the "Big One".

If you read this carefully you should plainly see I am not trying to convince anyone that a neocon is by no stretch of the mind a liberal.

As a term, neoconservative first was used derisively by democrat socialist Michael Harrington to identify a group of people (who called themselves liberal) as newly conservative ex-liberals. The term stuck, because it is accurate and because neoconservatives accepted that they are conservative.

If Iran builds the bomb big enough to use against Israel I believe they will use it as soon as they can to destroy them. or launch an air burst off our east coast thus causing a very large hurting of our economy.Or both.

Then we will have a target to go after that the dems can get behind as they cant see how to go to war with any group not affiliated with a specific geographical country.

We are in WW-3, terrorism is happening all around the world at an alarming rate.

We are going to lose this war just as we did in Vietnam,In this country.

Hello...........Wake up people. Iran doesn't have to have a nuke. The United States gave them everything they need. China and Russia.
China can completely break our banks in a matter of days. And Russia has the arsenal and the man power, along with China's 3 million ground troops and their weaponry. Thats 3,000,000 screaming gun toting little bad #####'s.
Do you think that for one minute, that after we have made a laughing stock out of Europe, including France, that anyone is going to help us out.
Bush stated in his little speech today that he will be "Running back to Crawford". If something happened, and we came under attack, do you think it's gonna matter to Bush? He will be well protected. In his bunker.

Ever seen "Dead Mans Walk". When the coronal gave up, with no regrets and surrendered. Then he was well taken care of by the Mexican Army. He was fed, bathed, and was treated with respect. While his men were chained, and treated like prisoners they were.

Bush can do the same thing, and the leaders of Russia or China will treat him as royalty. How did we treat the leaders of Japan after we bombed their country?

The rest of the world has been trying to convince Iran to break off production of highly enriched fuel ( not needed for power generation ) but they wont have any part of it.

We all should know that Iran's nuclear program is not for power generation as they were offered Russian fuel but they turned it down. Why if not for bombs?

If Israel can convince Russia they must be stopped then probably not much. If not we will stand behind Israel by treaty. It will get nasty and I would hope it would not come to that.

This is what would stop Russia from jumping in with both feet. They are not as powerful as they once were. They still have ICBM.s pointed our way, but I doubt they would want to use them.

I think its already started in Germany during the Olympics . It has been growing bigger ever since.

The big question is will enough of us see it in time to unite and fight this threat or pretend it not a big problem until it is unstoppable.

I think the United States, BUSH needs to back off of Iran. The cowboy rhetoric is not helping the situation. We do not have the resources to get into a war with Iran. Because a war with Iran will be a war with Russia.

If Bush does not back of from Iran, he could have more problems on his hands than he may want. Dubai and Iran are huge trading partners, Dubai does not support the war with Iraq, yet allows us to port Naval ships. If dubya were to take any action against Dubai's financial interests with Iran we could very well be paying them millions, or Dubai could very well cut off their ports from our use.
