Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Actually, I was having a brain fart. Point is that the illegals are now becoming a problem in Canada, but Canada deals with it differently than we do.

It is actually a poor performance. The government claims to always adhere to the laws. The paperwork required for hiring any employee has been in place since 1986 during the Reagan administration. There have been adjustments since then, but the basics remain the same.

What this shows is that they are not following the rules. If they can say the corporations out there are wrong for hiring a couple, then they are too.

I'll wait until I see a source for this information before passing judgment.

Was it the Government or a contractor?

Either way, 50,000 sounds a little far fetched.

I heard the illegals "employed" by the Government are actually employed by contractors, much like the Landscaping Company "hired" (and fired) by Mitt Romney.
