God has nothing to do with this unholy crusade...it's ego and empire..I believe in defending ourselves, which has always been our way...this is not the American way of doing things...as I said, it's the neoconservative way...

All right, using your logic, what would you do in the following scenario. A world leader (pick one) goes on CNN and publicly states that he has a biological weapon he plans to use against the U.S., in say, New York City. He shows us the weapon and everything.

Now according to your logic, we as a Nation are just supposed to sit back and wait for this Leader to follow through on his threat. In other words, you want to wait until after an attack has occurred to do anything about it. After all, we don't believe in "first strikes".

How is that "defending ourselves"?

Isreal is the most hated nation in this world and everyone that hates them is right next to them they have a right to defend themselves against the folks in those places whom have attcked them in the past and whom have stated will continue to attack them into the future.
of course thats all said as long as its with in reason no unwarranted attacks on the part of isreal either.
of course i could care less i just think lasers are cool.

Half the weapons systems we have are the result of scientist thinking something was "just cool".

Men will always be fascinated with new and improved ways to blow stuff up.

Thats direct quote's from the post I read. So, I say again, If they halted there weapons program, why are they still producing weapons grade HEU? You dont have to for Citizen Power.

Who has attacked who? No one. But if you point a gun to my head, I have the right to defend myself. The man has said he intends on wiping Isreal and the United States off the face of the map to his people. The threat is real so you have to watch your back. Thats all thats happening. You guys act like we already went in.

Iran is not capable of wiping any one out .
let alone the world super power.
However it is a so called holy land and a holy war islam against jews .
they current have the capability to annoy isreal if let loose isreal has the capabilitie to defend itself quite well in fact so much so they could wipe out iran.

I have yet heard anyone say Iran "has" nukes.......
I have only seen reports that Iran "seeks and pursues" to be a nuclear nation.....

ABC has been known to be leaning to the left and has put a spin on this report...

Iran is "seeking" nuclear weapons... If not then why such denial and such resistance in letting UN inspections?

Israel? the most hatted? well they are disliked by a majority of the middle east but they are not the rest of the world....

First strike? I guarantee that you have not spent one day in the service nor have you been in a combat situation.... when you do please come back and tell me what you think of that policy you speak as you know so much about......

Exactly right! Iran does NOT have Nukes. But Iran is SEEKING nuclear weapons. That means we can do nothing but watch. If they HAVE a nuke program or a nuke (God forbid), then you will see a small scale strike. People are panic'ing and calling foul when nothing is happening except intel.
