Since 9-11, a small group of "neo-conservatives" in the [Bush] Administration have effectively gutted — they would say reformed — traditional American foreign and security policy. Notable features of the new Bush doctrine include the pre-emptive use of unilateral force, and the undermining of the United Nations and the principle instruments and institutions of international law .... all in the cause of fighting terrorism and promoting homeland security.

I won't even go into the connection between Rev Moon and Bush...LOL...I know, hard to believe, but true....

Anyway...good ol Wolfie just found another job in the administration...he's a huge Zionist and neocon....

I want an even handed approach to the middle east, something that has been lacking for many, many years...I won't even go into Israeli Nukes...

OK, let me think of some ways, short and sweet.

1. Moral- It is pretty obvious that Israel is hated in the region filled with radical Islamic controlled governments. Egypt is basically paid off to not invade, among others. Liberals often talk about compassion and acceptance, but when it comes to Israel, screw them.

It is illogical to do unmoral things, therefore it is logical to continue to support with Israel.

2. Long Term Ally- We have a very very long and strong allegiance with Israel. Our people hold the same value system and love of freedom. To turn our back on Israel will do nothing but show the USA as selfish and backstabbing.

It is illogical to destroy a long term allegiance for no reason, therefor its logical to continue to support Israel.

3. Democratic stable government in the region- With many radical elements controlling neighboring countries, Israel is a stable beacon of freedom in the region. They, unlike there neighbors, have Freedom of speech and press, Rule of Law with Due Process, and equal treatment of the sexes.

It is illogical to destabilize the best hope for freedom in the region, therefore it is logical to continue to support Israel.

4. An Economic and High Tech leader of the world- Israel leads the world in research and development in Medicine and Science, Telecommunications and High Tech Electronics, and Agriculture. Some examples that have paid major dividends back to the United States has been the drug Copaxone for Multiple Sclerosis sufferers, Drip Irrigation that saves 40-50% water usage and 300% increase in crop output. Innovations are estimated to save American business Billions!

It would be illogical to sever or not protect a partnership in High-Tech research and trade with an economic leader, therefore it is logical to continue to support Israel.

5. Intelligence Partnership- Israel leads the world in Intelligence Gathering. They specialize in intel regarding radical Islamic elements of the world. The same elements that have declared war on us, weather or not we decide to be at war with them.

It would be illogical not to protect a river of intelligence gathered by a third party. Therefore it would be logical to continue to support Israel.

6. Military Power- Israel maintains the most highly trained and most advanced military in the region. The military itself stabilizes the region and is a major assist to keeping it that way. While Israel is there, (or at least a buffer until allies could arrive) we don't have to be if there is a reason for conflict.

It would be illogical to remove the most stable and advanced military in the region, therefore it would be logical to continue to support Israel.


Well, thats some that I thought of. You could get Biblical also, but I doubt anyone would accept that if they don't already. One thing is for sure, if someone in your family was Israeli, you would feel differently I bet. We need to stop this ME ME ME and anyone else, screw them mentality. This is suppose to be a liberal ideal. Compassion. But I guess thats only for politically correct issues like gay rights and affirmative action.

The reasons aside, I support the continued support economically and militarily of Israel. I have not called anyone (or think) anyone that has been debating this (while I have been around) is anti-semite. I only disagree. Thats called debate. There are those out there, but I have not seen such racism here yet. So I guess I am an Evil Zionest Neocon, but saying all Zionist neocon's think that all who disagree are anti-semite, is kinda hypercritical in that in itself it is stereotyping.

The facts are they WERE trying in 2003...they cannot be trusted now ESPECIALLY with that nutjob running the country of Iran. I don't care, Iran does NOT need nuclear energy sitting on all that oil. They know DARN well what they are doing...buying time. They are known to be trying to make a submarine with long-range capabilities as well...guess who they can hit with that? What gives me the right to say they don't deserve nuclear power....? COMMON SENSE! We watched Hitler build up...but, he sure didn't have access to the power of the sun either. We let Iran keep on..they WILL get a nuke and I hope YOUR family isn't one of those with their faces flapping in the wind as they stand upon their feet when they do. We are IDIOTS if we sit back and watch this happen and we DESERVE our faces ripped from our skulls if we watch these religious maniacs acquire the literal power of the sun. Simple.

Sure Wiseone, I'll go along with you. But...If we don't permit the Iranians to have nukes, how in the world can we justify allowing the Israelis to possess nuclear (nucular) weaponry?

I believe the Israel is a very destabilizing force in the region. If it was not for our continued support for Israel why would Iran want to nuke us? Wouldn't that guarantee their own annihilation? Why am I missing the trail of logic here?
