At times I'm finding that if you want to be in a GOOD MOOD, don't come into the Politics Forum. Sometimes I let off a little bit more steam than some can handle. But that's just how I vent. I'm not a PSYCO, I'm harmless and it's nothing personal toward anyone, even the folks I disagree with. It's just the way that I vent. I'm actually a very laid back guy. If its' been a frustrating day at work or something didn't go right, I either come in here, or go to my man cave music room, crank up the Led Zepplin or King's X and play my drums. After a while, I'm back to "normal" for a right wing nut job. A couple of times I've "vented" a little too much and somebody like Cybergal or Bullhauerswife smacks me around and beats me over the head with a hammer and resets my brain waves, gives me an infraction or 3 or 4 and I feel like a rebel again. Anyway, this part of the forum has been known to kill a GOOD MOOD every now and then. So yell and scream at your computer. It doesn't listen or really care what you say to it. Just let go, but don't curse or call anybody anything that you wouldn't call your sister.

It's crazy to believe what the politicians (who receive money from lobbyist) tell you about health care. It's like believing everything a used car salesman tells you about a car.

Our health care system is so bogged down with Government regulations, lobbyist, and insurance bureaucracies, that it's hard to understand how anyone can figure we have the best health care system in the world.
With any country, if you have the cash, your gonna get the best.
Example: If you need a tonsillectomy. If you tell your doctor that your paying in cash. You can actually get a discount for doing that. And the charge would be alot less.
If you have insurance, the treatment may be the same, but it's gonna cost your insurance alot more. Which in turn, makes yours, and every one Else's premiums go up. So you pay more then next year.
If you have government paid medical, then the doctor is forced to charge less, and the wait time, is alot longer.
Because with Insurance and Government paid medical, the doctor has alot more crap to go through just to get paid. He has to hire more employees. Employees that do nothing more than try to collect payments.

So therefore, if you take the government out of the health care business, along with alot of the regulations, and let the free market drive the health care industry, the prices will go down.
Insurance carriers will have to compete more efficiently. OF course your not going to be able to get the Rx lobbyist away from the Doctors.
But the patients will have the availability to choose.

Of course, you can't do away with Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security Disability, but at least, it would cut down on alot of things that bring the prices up.
The health care industry is one of the only two industries that increase in price when new technology is introduced.
Take a sonogram from example. It's three times higher now, then 10 years ago. Even with the new technology.

I'm not one who believes in government controlled health care. Seems everything the government gets into, only makes things worse. It destroys the good points of capitalism and the free market.

R.P. does have some good ideas, but then so did Ross Perot. The problem is the supporters seem to be doing more harm than good for his cause. All the "spamming" and hype come off as if people are trying to force him down our collective throats. Maybe if the internet supporters would calm down, the mainstream media might take a more serious look at him.
