There's not a requirement for any legislative accomplishments to be the President. In fact there's no requirement of any kind of experience. What had JFK accomplished before being President, what did Lincoln do to deserve being Presdient, What accomplishment did Franklin D. Roosevelt accomplish before being President. Why would this be a problem? It's not a problem.

I see no evidence from the past 6 decades that having any experince is beneficial to the office of the President. It's about the person. I consider Obama being out of the Washington establishment a good thing. Maybe something that the people of this country needs. Lets be honest, how can we trust the people that have been apart of the establishment for so long, i.e. Hillary and McCain, to do anything different then what's been done in the past. These career Washington elites have to much baggage to trust them.

Do I expect growing pains with Obama, yes. Just like with Bush. I believe the reality, and responsiblities of being President will fall on Obama pretty hard. But I see potential in this guy that I don't see with McCain and certainly not Hillary. I think the brother needs a chance.

I'll just say this. I'm experimenting with the idea of Obama.

I do believe this country needs a new direction. McCain is to close to the old school Washington way of doing things for this change to happen. Hillary is just dangerous.

I'm considering voting for Obama. I'm willing to give him a chance to see what he can bring to this country. We need something to stimulate this country.

Anyway remember when Ford was getting shot at every other week, that was good TV. I'm tired of watching American Idol every night.

Ford getting shot at every week?

I thought he was more entertaining when he would stumble or fall.

or bean a guy in the head with a golf ball. lmao I did like ford tho. Poor man didn't really want to be Vice Pres yet they talked him into it...Became Pres and took alot of heat for things Nixon and friends did. I do disagree with him pardoning Nixon tho....otherwise he seemed like a good leader.
