Mar~2005-Voted YES He SHOULD have voted to repeal ALL taxes on Companies who are moving jobs offshore, after-all it is the crippling taxes and regulations put on companies BY the Democrats; who are in bed with Unions, that have caused companies to move off-shore, AS A MATTER OF SURVIVAL.

Mar~2005-Voted YES He should have voted to abolish the DOE, which is an utter failure; you can't throw enough money at "Education" to improve the test scores of the inmates in a failed "New-Deal". In addition: Corporations (and Capitalism) are the CURE for poverty and ignorance.

Feb~2006-Voted YES Another case of the Democrat Policy of Wealth redistribution. He should have voted to cut the PORK out of the Legislation in the Senate instead.

Jun~2007-Voted YES And HOW does the US enforce this?

I beg to differ with you......strongly.

A candidate's voting record is the most powerful tool you have when sorting through the rhetoric of a POTUS campaign.

A leopard will not normally change his spots, and I prefer to look at how a candidate has previously voted on the issues that directly affect me and my family over what they tell me while standing on a podium in front of a group of blind supporters.

If I wanted to base my vote on the oldest, longest running politician who ever crashed an airplane, then Johnnie Mac would definitely get my vote.

Resistance Is Futile

As the Statist is building a culture of conformity and dependency, where the ideal citizen takes on drone-like qualities in service to the state, the individual must be drained of uniqueness and self-worth and deterred from independent thought or behavior. This is acheived through varying methods of economic punishment and political suppression.

Wow...thats very enlightening. And here I thought corporations moved offshore because NAFTA allowed them to do so, enlisting cheaper labor, then freely moving the finished product right back into the American marketplace for the same price...thereby maximizing bottom line. What was I thinking?

Mar~2005-Voted YES He should have voted to abolish the DOE, which is an utter failure; you can't throw enough money at "Education" to improve the test scores of the inmates in a failed "New-Deal". In addition: Corporations (and Capitalism) are the CURE for poverty and ignorance.

I'm guessing you can support this?

Feb~2006-Voted YES Another case of the Democrat Policy of Wealth redistribution. He should have voted to cut the PORK out of the Legislation in the Senate instead.

I read once that 18,000 Americans die each year because they lack health insurance. They simply can't afford it...and cutting pork legislation will address this how??

Jun~2007-Voted YES And HOW does the US enforce this?
Prosecute them, like we did in the '90s.

Jun~2007-Voted YES And HOW does the US enforce this?Prosecute them, like we did in the '90s.
No, look at the Auto manufacturers, they have been declining for 30 years. If you lived in Michigan you could see the STRANGLING regulations and the UNION contracts that (in the past) paid pensions and health care for retires for the rest of their lives. You had UNIONS that made it next to impossible to get rid of "Jolly Rench", who would sabotage the assembly line out of boredom, out of spite or just because he wanted another day off.
These "pensions and health-care" have added more than $3000 to the price of a new vehicle. Japanese auto makers can compete, by building a BETTER product, because they DON'T NEED the UAW to interfere between the management and the employees. I ONCE delivered to a parts plant that was on STRIKE. WHY? Because the owner wished to show his employees gratitude by giving them 1/2 day off, with lunch (pizza and cokes) catered by the local pizza shop. They struck for 7 weeks and he closed his doors. I guess "they" showed him, didn't they?
Corporations are STRUGGLING with overbearing rules and regulations imposed by the Democrat run Local and State Governments and compete with foreign companies on top of this BS. THAT is why they move off-shore. You can't effectively argue against it. I LIVE in it, I have watched it with my own eyes for almost 30 years.

When they continually build new schools and give School Administrators hundredThousand$ annual salaries and the kids are still failing....yes I support getting rid of the DOE. It ISN'T working. But then you probably never have lived in the "inner-city" either, have you?

18,000 deaths of Americans with-out insurance annually is relatively small when you consider ALL the deaths. 18000 only equals 0.007% of the total

Number of deaths: 2,397,615
Death rate: 816.5 deaths per 100,000 population
Life expectancy: 77.8 years
Infant Mortality rate: 6.8 deaths per 1,000 live births
Number of deaths for leading causes of death:
Heart disease: 652,486
Cancer: 553,888
Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 150,074
Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 121,987
Accidents (unintentional injuries): 112,012
Diabetes: 73,138
Alzheimer's disease: 65,965
Influenza/Pneumonia: 59,664
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 42,480
Septicemia: 33,373

MOST people who have no insurance (EXCLUDING ILLEGALS) are the 20-35 somethings that would rather spend money on BLING or another party, than spend it on insurance. So, why should anyone care if they get killed or sick (and die). They CHOSE to go with-out insurance. It isn't my responsibility (or yours) to pay for their insurance.
