You could NEVER been more wrong here. I am NOT (nor have I ever been) a "blind follower" of GWB. Most of my time in these political forums is spent dispelling the BLATENT LIES and INANE ALLEGATIONS that are spouted by some of the members here; particularly about Bush's DWI 37 years ago, his ALLEGED use of Cocaine, how he "lied us into war" and the wholly stupid theory that Bush was somehow responsible for 9-11. If you read back FAR ENOUGH, you will see that I have been CLEAR that I think GWB has been wrong on a lot of things....except the war.
But no one seems to care about the other stuff, they only read and remember what they want.
You ARE wrong about ANYONE "losing more personal wealth" during the past 8 years. Personal wealth has grown. The same people who were poor 25 years ago have MORE money now, at least the ones who made smart decisions for themselves, like getting an education. Those who didn't; well it surely isn't MY responsibility to support them thru higher taxes, which is surely what will happen IF/WHEN a democrat is elected to President.


I have NOT responded to any question about the "Stimulus Package", because while I don't think it a good idea, I don't know enough about economics to form a fully informed opinion, and I am sure most of the people on this forum are just as ignorant about the total economic picture as I am. But it is foolhardy to think that the democrats would be any better fiscally and I have been clear throughout this forum that GWB (AND the democrats) are DEAD-WRONG on immigration and I have also been clear that I believe they have ALL been spending us into oblivion, it is just that I believe the democrats will do it much faster than the republicans will.


And if you listened to what the "Right-Wing Talkers" are saying, you would hear them express their anger/frustration at their "republican" representatives as well, for just the reasons I have mentioned here.
Why do you think the Republicans lost so many seats in the Senate and Congress? Because many of them either stayed home in the 2006 elections or voted for Democrats out of frustration that their representatives sold them down the river thru one unnecessary social program after another, and one pork barrel project after another. Why do you think they stand a good chance of losing the White House? For the same reasons.
