Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

I hear you on supporting branches in the family tree...Seems like these days every Grandpa and his brother are raising their grand kids while their parents are out doping and running around. And the methheads/methanites or whatever you want to call em are the root cause of it around here. Our county jail's medical budget was drained 3 months into the year last year because of them.

You cannot name ONE time where I called any member of this forum a "MOONBAT". As I stated; I use that term Generically to describe the moonbat liberal whacko tree-hugging global warming animal right activist.......types people (whateva)

And here is where YOU are wrong, again. I "QUOTED" the entire post and was not selective nor did I take it out of context. It may be of some help for you to go back and re-read the entire thread.

Since you accuse me of being selective and taking things "out of context", let me bring a little sunshine into your dank existence: The DWI/DUIs happened well over 20 years ago (1982/1984 to be exact), so they would have no effect at all on my insurance today. And besides...as I have ALSO stated many times through out this forum; things a person has done in the past have no bearing on who they are today: provided they have exhibited a change in their life. I only used MY example to show the foolishness of some people to bring up GWB's drunk driving arrest 32 years ago, and the NON-ALCOHOL related fatality accident Laura Bush was involved in when she was 17 years old.

I beg your pardon??? I have NOT hijacked any thread, since I have the right to respond to any post that I wish, as you do. And I do NOT grovel at the feet of anyone. I have as much right to my opinion as anyone else on this forum.

Nice touch......I'm impressed

lol...I was using sarcasm...Which is a weapon you and I both seem to pride ourselves on being able to quickdraw from both holsters. But as for Ronn's comment towards me...the reason I didn't respond to it in a mouthy way is twofold.

1.I've read a lot of his other posts (like on union shops, insurance ,pension, political beliefs etc) and although he's definitely entitled to his opinion, it's just glaringly obvious he was raised different than me and his background experiences seem to be at polar ends to mine( WHICH IS FINE AND I"M GLAD FOR HIM,he's blessed.) and anything I said to him would either incite hateful comments or misunderstandings that would be a waste of time on both of our parts.I 'm trying to quit smoking this week and I just don't want the extra aggravation.
2. His profile say's TRUCKING INDUSTRY.Not driver. So unless he's a mechanic, body man ,truck restoration enthusiast or in a related field ,why bother arguing for fun.LOL...I've argued with enough lying truck owners, dispatchers, recruiters,"safety men" , truck salesmen, parts dealers, insurance agents or God forbid, a paccar finance man or DOT officer ( most who've never been behind the wheel) in my life that I don't want to waste another precious second of time left in my short life arguing with another one.And I mean that in the nicest possible way.Well, unless he works for paccar or DOT,then I wouldn't mean it so nice...LOL

As for you quoting me and responding to the quotes, whatever ,I'll just go ahead and agree with ya on most points but the weird "moonbat" comment....I never said that nor even heard of it until your post....Please track it back and show me where I said it.I really hope I didn't because that would add alzhiemers to my daily growing list of health issues. This is your olive branch.

I'm very sorry...I forgot to mention arguing with lying brokers and receivers....A thousand pardons.
