| I think you're absolutely right. Getting special interest out of politics would be a huge step forward, and campaign finance reform is a huge step in the right direction. |

What's next? no blonds can vote? Politics is all about pressing your agenda, otherwise, we would all agree on everything. |

| it's not arguing. It's political debate and it's healthy. Well untill you get the closed minded folks who can not accept anything other then what they believe and they just get mad and stomp there feet like kids. lol it is the best we can do because 90% of americans know nothing except the sound bites on the news. they all like to complain but not do anything. So the formula for being a sucessfull candidate is being photogenic (don't know how to explain hilary or McCain so mabey I'm off base here) have good one liners (luck the terminator isn't a us citizen or we would have already elected him to be the presinator) have lots and lots of money and friends with even more money and to be in a position to give things to people with yet more money. hmm.. I see a common theme here |

| Politics are about representing the people. At least that's what it is supposed to be but we've lost that because of the special interest money. Elections should be tax payer funded ONLY so that people can hear more about what the candidate is about themselves rather then what they have to so to get the next check and then we don't even want to know what they have to promise to do to get that check too. |

Folks in New City City see things differently then folks in the swamps of Georgia. The New Yorker wants one thing, the Georgia guy another. Now there are plenty of things people agree on, but when it comes to particulars, you gotta fight for what you want. |

| I was going to write a long message about this subject but I got to thinking that if they haven't figured out by now that the special interest groups are running this country and by the way running it right into the ground then there is little hope that they will figure it out until they wake up one day and suddenly realize that its only a few people that have the American dream and that the special interest groups stole it away from the rest of us of course by then it will be way too late to do anything about it |
