Ron Paul Hints He is Quitting the Race

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul is hinting to supporters that he is ending his long-shot campaign for the presidency.
The Texas Republican congressman addressed supporters in a 7 1/2-minute video on his campaign Web site Thursday night and did not specifically say he was quitting the race.
He said that although victory in the conventional political sense is not available in the presidential race, many victories have been achieved due to the hard work and enthusiasm of his supporters.
He said that he hoped that one day he and his supporters could look back and say his campaign was a significant first step that signaled a change in direction for the country.
Paul said their job now was to plan for the next phase of their effort.

LOL, yea, I wouldn't say he "quit" now, I would say he was trounced and the longer he stays in, the more he will be looked upon as a complete fool IMHO. Save your dignity, Ron Paul, go ahead and face reality...it's ok man.

Its amazing to me see people mock and ridicule someone who promotes ideals closest to those of the Founding Fathers as Ron Paul has.

Such is the strength of modern propaganda and the weaknesses of the both the American people and our education system.

Washington - no foreign entanglements
Paul - no foreign entanglements

Jefferson - limited government with protection of Bill of Rights
Paul - limited government with protection of Bill of Rights

Jackson - abolition of central banking and banking cartels
Paul - Abolition of the Federal Reserve and international banking influence

Washington through Johnson - Gold standard, monetary system based on backing of real value item, not fiat currency
Paul - see above.

How myopic are the opposition.

Hey Reb, what would the founding fathers thought about the concept of inserting earmarks and then voting against them?

Hey lob,

on the scale of injustices is that the best you got? Get the Plank out of your own parties eyes before you complain about the splinter in Paul's.

So, it justifies Rhu Paulo's inconsistency by comparing his to others?

Why is someone who commits the tort of libel on a blog still allowed to post here?
