Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

I applaud her when she found him guilty. I was pleased when he was disbarred. I have had a personal experience with Snopes regarding something that I encountered a few years back. I suggest that you research who is behind Snopes, and where they get their funding from, first. For every website like Snopes, I can find 5 others that are as opposite as day is to night. One thing for sure, what occurred in Mena, Arkansas was real, and did happen.

I don't give Snopes much credit at all. Four years ago, I sent an email out about a experience that I had. Two months later, and rep from Snopes called here, and challenged the validity of the email. One, I don't make up stories. Two, I surely wouldn't have allowed the story to get as big as it did, if it weren't true. Three, I was told later that the people behind Snopes aren't too investigative, as they did not make phone calls, etc. Later the same week, I was contacted by another website that does the same thing as Snopes. Before calling me, they had already made six phone calls to entities that were mentioned in the email that I sent out. All six places verified the details that were mentioned in my email. All they wanted from me was a direct quoye, and to let me know that they had verifies the story. So, Snopes is now completely off my radar.
