You know, a person can list a politician, and just continue to list all of their promises. Some are still in office, some are trying to get elected.

Pelosi failed. However, in reality the entire congress failed. In 2005 to 2007 there were 44 Republicans and 55 Democrats and 1 Independent.

2007 to now, it is 49 Republican and 49 Democrats and 2 Independent.

Seems to me it is hard to have a majority party decision by either one. Therefore when they say Congress is a failure or even Pelosi, consider the entire issue.

I havent seen anyone here claiming to be big fans of the congress. They have failed us. However, Pelosi is THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE and as such has more to say about what gets done and what doesnt get done (in the House) than anyone else including the president. She is the pilot of that plane and she doesnt even realize it is going down in flames. She will be remembered as the worst of the worst.

I have said she failed. I have just added additional thoughts. I have never liked her and will not argue her failure. But keep in mind, there are others as well.

You're dead on. This mess has been brewing for some years now and no one had the guts to stand up and say enough is enough. Might not get re-elected. I blame them all. Bush has let the congress spend like drunken sailors, and they have gladly done so. The whole U S Senate is a disgrace. Ever wonder why so few Senators get to be Pres?. And now whoever wins one of these blow hearts is going to be at the helm. Pelosi-she is just a total joke. She has no business being in a position of such great power. I think she may well go down like Jimma Carter as one of the worst ever.
I keep going back to what my parents told me when I became old enough to vote. They always said one man or woman would never bring this great country down so chill out. Your fellow Americans in time will get it right.

I agree. It is said that there are many on both sides that can only find fault with one person and not the whole picture. They are so focused on their own party and believe that they will never be wrong. It is so sad to see this.
