I live in an area overrun with illegal immigrants, as most areas are anymore. This week our county sheriff finally "grew a pair" and raided a manufacturing company and grabbed up and are now deporting 53 illegals that were employed there. Bravo I say. The problem comes in with my city, Asheville, NC, because our ultra liberal, hippy, community activists are now planning a march of protest in our city/county plaza tomorrow about the "unfair treatment" of these illegals followed by a prayer vigil for them and their families. But hey, if any local here is in need of a job there are now 53 more available for Americans thanks to the sherriff. He is going to lay out his plan next week for more such raids, and the hippies are planning more protests. I have a feeling far fewer illegals are going to be showing up at the popular work spots in the next few weeks. Hopefully they will soon be moving on to greener, more southern pastures.

Heckhere in Lewisville TX, they stand out like a sore thumb.. Everyday at the 7 eleven there from dusk to dawn. They also converge at the lots next to Enterprise rental.. Our cops and sherifs don't bother to do a thing, probably because Texas is 90% illegals, and 10% legal..

Man have you got that right! I moved out of FTW in 95 cause they were getting so bad. Now they are showing up out here 30 miles W. Saw where DLS was changing the schools to take late homework and tests. They have ruined the schools in all the large TX cities. Not to mention the hospital districts and the prison system. FTW built a center for them to wait in to be picked up by contractors. A/C & HT. Vending machines. Called the police and asked why they didn't round em' up as there were 2-400 there every day. They just blew me off. Wish they would put a bounty on em' like coyotes. I could make a grand by lunch every day.

Anyone who still uses the term "hippy", or "hippies", in any other context that to say, "I am just an old hippy, but" really should not be allowed within public view.

I am just an old hippy and will place my disgust with illegals (and the Bush acceptance of them) with yours, any day.

Deprot all those here already INCLUDING THE FREAKING ANCHOR BABIES and put a monitoring device on them that if removed or tampered with sets off a 2 oz charge of C4 that will remove the leg it is attached to.

For those that are renting to them Seize all their Properties that they own and give them to the homeless.

In my community, "hippy" is a term commonly used by everyone, including the people who consider themselves that. We still have communes here, and this segment is very vocal in our community. We currently even have a Wiccan priestess, "Lady Pasion", holding a death vigil over a tree scheduled for removal from our city/county plaza. I live in a very bizarre city. In our local paper you can find where to have your past lives investigated, get in touch with your dead relatives, be more vital with constant colon cleansing and aromatherapy, etc.

As to the raid on the manufacturing plant I told about, the newspaper is now reporting that of the 53 illegals arrested 30 of them were released "for humanitarian reasons." Americans are a giving, loving people, but we are "humanitarianing" ourselves out of our country!

It has not been limited to one party. So consider the lack of concern in Washington.

Liberals are the ones that fight anything that might be hurtful to anyone or anything remember. These are the same people that in mid 90's when Bosnia was imploding and Mislosivich was on the rampage and his troops were raping and murdering anyone that had a Muslim name we sat on the sidelines because we were afraid that we might look like we were taking sides. These are the same people that have rammed being Politically Correct down everyones Throats and also tried to get Ebonics as a Federal Reconignized Languange also.

No doubt, but still, in 1986 they started the Immigration Act. If I remember right, there was only 1 Democrat in President and the congress during this time leaned more Republican in most years.

In the 80's both the House and Sneate had Veto Proof Majorities for the Democrats basically even if Regan vetoed it they over rode it and passed it.
