McCain vs Obama

A president's pension currently is $191,300 per year, until he is 80
years old.
Assuming the next president lives to age 80. Sen. McCain would receive ZERO pension as he would reach 80 at the end of
two terms as president. Sen. Obama would be retired for 26 years after
two terms and would receive $4,973,800 in pension.

Therefore it would certainly make economic sense to elect McCain in November.

How's that for non-partisan thinking?

Makes about as much sense as any other reason to vote for either of these 2.

Assuming that the winner in November gets re-elected in 2012, what's worse is that not electing them gives them 4 more years of pension, assuming they live to the same age either way. The only good thing that has come about is Secret Service for life ends with Clinton, Bush and his successors will get 10 years of protection.

Hate to rain on the parade, but that's entirely fictional. Was recently dealt with on Snopes. Go to their What's New page if you want to read it all...

There is no age cap on Presidental Pension, it's a lifetime thing.

I said nothing about pension, I did elaborate on Secret Service Protection.

That's the official government website, in 1997 Congress enacted a law limiting that protection to 10 years after the President leaves office. If you can't read for content, expect to be corrected. I don't bother with Snopes, don't need it.
