I just saw it on CNN and they CONFIRMED it. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin IS John McCain's VP running mate! I will get a link as soon as I can find one!

Yep I just saw that . I found it pretty cool, that he picked a woman!! I will have to find out more about her though, as I really dont know much, or actually anything, other than what you just said LOL!!

I like her, don't know her REAL well, but definitely will research more now! I can't believe it! This will shake it ALL up now! McCain WILL get most of the women vote now, I bet!

Thats exactly what I said, as I walked by the tv, and saw that!! This election is getting more interesting by the minute!! I think it will be very intersting, to see how it all unfolds in the end?!

Agreed- I just want them to vote for her because she is an intelligent, articulate, and down-to-earth person- not just because she's a woman. I wish this country could get past the "voting because of a candidates religion, color, sex, or related trait.

I think Palin is an amazingly dynamic pick. The Repubs need new blood for another generation, and she could very well be it. She's risen as fast as Obama, but with more responsibility and result.

Well they have been keeping it very quit who he was thinking about choosing... But women will now look at McCain cause of this, you just can't deny that fact, it will happen... So, this gives him an edge I would think. I don't believe he selected her to give him an edge but who she is...

Bill Handel from KFI had a whole segment on her. She hunts, she toes the line on ethics, and she has executive experience something that Obama, Biden and McCain do not have.
It's about time we had a women in the VP slot too.

This is something my wife and I talk about frequently. Her take is that the majority of the households in America are run by women. So what's the difference? Both houses have to deal with children and money.
