Pretty scary stuff! It seems to me that college as we now know it will have to change---more specialized schools to keep up with all the future knowledge. And in fact, so much knowledge cannot be maintained by an individual, so things will become packaged 'sub-routines' in order to not info overload!

Speaking of China, did anybody else catch the week-long Ted Koppel special on Discover Ch? China has become pretty impressive---unlimited cheap labor, yet still use robots to 'hasten' production! They make their own Buicks, Toyota's, etc. for their own use and not export!

Also, the one thing that impressed (and awed me) was the Olympic shows put on by the Chinese----not that they were unreal when that many ppl were 'conscripted' over many months to accomplish them; but that so many ppl could be organized with such discipline and could very well make up a fierce and awesome army should war be necessary for China at any time!

It would take a nuclear event for the U.S. to get organized as such, since we are too individualistic and shun sacrifice of any type for personal gains...
