Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Heart Picking on Palin

All this 'picking on Sarah Palin' as being out-of-her-league is a bunch of unfounded bashing! Her lack of being 'drilled-to-death' on national/international issues, having just gotten into this 2 yr campaign, just shows what I and pretty much all in industry have experienced at one time or another in their lives.

At least 2 times in my life I was put into a position of high visibility and responsibility that I didnt feel competent for. In both cases I was appointed and did not apply for the job. At first and for the initial 3 months, I made mistakes and am sure I was seen as somewhat incompetent by some. After 6 months, I started getting a feel for the job and felt like I had a handle on it. After 1 year, I felt like I had been doing that job all my life and it fit like a glove! It was an example of the age-old Peter Principle: "In a Hierarchy Every Employee Tends to Rise to His Level of Incompetence." And when he becomes competent, then he is promoted again to the next level of incompetence!

Sarah Palin is in that same situation. Fortunately she will have time and good counsel as she grows into it. And, as Bill Clinton said, "Nobody is ready to be president." Same for Sarah as a national high level politician. The one exception is, McCain---ready & could step into the president position with all his experience (Squadron commander, State Rep, and long-time U.S. Senator, sitting on many committees)....that's no spin!!

What America likes best about Sarah, is that she is a regular, authentic person, not yet polished into a 2-faced politician! And as a fellow reformer (as in 'Mr. Smith goes to Washington'), hopefully she will gain knowledge and experience without being corrupted should the McCain/Palin tkt win the election...

A couple anti-Palin People Mag readers wrote some letters. One said that it seemed like Palin put career above her children. Another said they didn't like the pick of her on a hunting trip standing over a dead caribou.

Yes, keep protecting Governor Palin from those mean old Democrats. Let's make sure she's as fragile and unprepared as possible before she potentially becomes vice president. Let's all pretend that they're picking on her because she doesn't have a Y chromosome.

The Palin-protection reactions from the right are doing nothing but preventing her from being demonstrated for what she is: unfit. Don't believe me? Check out her answer to this question.

She has absolutely no idea what's going on. She doesn't even begin to comprehend any part of the bailout. All of this touting her as a soccer mom, she probably knows less about politics than the average soccer mom. She makes Miss Teen South Carolina sound coherent.

She has repeatedly been demonstrated to be unfit for the office of the vice presidency. It depresses me that Palin apologists even exist.

Palin has been seen in public the least of anyone running for Vice Pres in recent history..possible ever. Its as if they are afraid she might show her true incapable self.

Well if you can't see she was picked by McCain because she's a woman then you are blind. She don't have a clue what the hell is going on in this country.
I listen to her talk and all i see is "Clueless" flashing in neon. But in the end few people will vote for McCain because of Palin and few will vote for Obama because of Biden. Palin's honeymoon is over and people have shifted their attention back to who's running for president like i said they would.

Oh here's where you are wrong. Many people are voting for McCain BECAUSE of Palin, and many are voting for Obama despite Biden. I was in gas lines all week here in WNC so I had a chance to listen to talk radio, and I was amazed at the callers, over and over, who called in saying they are only voting for McCain because of Palin. I'm one of them. I just didn't think there were so many others who disliked McCain as much as I do and were just waiting for one reason to vote for him. If he wins I think he owes much of the victory to her. He wouldn't be getting my vote if it weren't for her. I only wish I could flip the ticket.

To the contrary...I wore a tight skirt for freshman hazing while getting woof whistles; and, I was also very popular while in prison.

But with my bountiful booty in a dress, I plan on getting the female vote and the Demo gay vote for the very large bulge in the front...

Thumbs up 'Palin Unleashed,' coming to a channel near you!

Looks like McCain slapped his 2 handlers that have been drilling Palin, and he wants to 'unleash' her as the Barracuda that she naturally is!!

Kudos, Mac!

At least with McCain/Palin, the inexperienced one is at the bottom of the ticket.
