Newsflash to Wah Wah and to Yahoo News apparently, the folks on the Supreme Court are referred to as Justices, not Judges. Secondly, most recent Presidents have put two or more on the court. G.W. Bush 2, Clinton 2, G.H.W. Bush 3, Reagan 2.

2 doesn't bother me, as they are already liberal, it's the third that's scary. A lot of left wing causes aren't even bothering with cases right now, but they will come out of the woodwork if the SCOTUS has a liberal majority.

But I don't see how the possibility that President Elect Obama could appoint three supreme court justices and my genuine excitement to the possibility, could me viewed as attempt from me to "rub it in everyone's face".

To continue our Civics lesson, because you seem to need it. The President does not appoint anyone to the Supreme Court. The President nominates them, and they are appointed "by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate".
