| WOW, everyone really does have allot of good points. quite honestly i don't know what i really think of burning the flag or flying it upside down, i just feel that everyone has the right to THEIR own opinions & views.when i picked my 12 yr old son up last night him & i were talking about the man that was flying it upside down & when we were going to get my daughter from work he asked me if i would take him by it, so i was headed there & my daughter said that he had taken it down that same morning BUT ONLY BECAUSE A LONG TIME EMPLOYEE HAD QUIT ON HIM, HE DIDN'T WANT THAT, however i said it before, he should be able to view his beliefs & what he feels, IT'S A FREE COUNTRY!!!! i'm sure that his employee voices his opinion & views on others, WHY CAN'T HIS BOSS OR ANYONE ELSE? I GUESS IT'S THAT DOUBLE STANDARD THING HUH!!! you can do it but no one else can, i got rid of a man like that after putting up with him for 14 yrs. my son was for obama & i can guarantee you that his dad was mad as hell but probably did not voice it to our son, i would not tolerate that. his dad, ONE HELL OF A RACIST, IF YOU'RE NOT WHITE GET OUT OF THE UNITED STATES, his views not mine. i do believe though that if you apply for a job that requires experience then you SHOULD have to have it before taking that job from someone that has earned it. my sons dads employer was made to hire a minority, so he got him out of the hall, kept him for 2 days & got rid of him, i had a problem with this but the man did not know how to run the equipment so he did not deserve to be there, they run heavy equipment like earthmovers ( hopefully you all know what that is) these are freaking huge machines & can be very dangerous if not operated correctly, there for if you can't operate it correctly go learn how then come back & try for the job again. anywho, i'm really glad i posted this thread, i mean i already knew peoples opinions just wondered what everyone thought of someone actually flying the flag upside down & i got it. for someone that's not into politics i sure am starting to get into it over this, NOT SURE IF THAT'S A GOOD THING OR NOT!!!! well i hope everyone continues to keep their own opinions & feels that they can voice them & not care what others think of them, IT IS YOUR RIGHT!!! have a good day everyone

| I don't feel that you can compare the burning of the flag with the flying it upside down. Burning the flag is a show of disrespect for the country. Flying it upside down is a cry for help..
