flying the american flag upside down
i had read in another thread that someone was telling the truckers to fly the flag upside down since it is a distress signal, well, ijust about choked this morning when i got up & turned the news on to find that a local tire company is flying his flag upside down & he said that it will remain that way til obama is gone. an employee of 17 yrs quit becaue of this. i really don't care what people do as it is a free country, for now anyways, & we all have the right to do what we like. just wondering what everyone else thinks of this???????? let me know

I'm still right.

You want to put the flag upside down as a form of protest... it's the exact same thing people do when they burn a flag. I don't happen to think that burning a flag is disrespectful, so I don't know what your problem is. If you happen to think burning the flag is disrespectful, why are you talking about disrespecting the lives that bled to keep the flag red by hanging it upside down just because you're angry about how the election went? From your perspective, how is that not terribly disrespectful?
