Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Help 2 Question: If 9-11 hadn't happened..?

If 9-11 had not of happened:

1) Would Saddam have continued his reign of terror against the countries like Iran & Kuwait in order to dominate the Mid-East..and, would he have succeeded?

2) Would he have developed a nuke to threaten & dominate?

3) Would there have been a nuclear mini-arms race between Iraq & Iran, and would they use them on each other?

4) Would their local nuclear war bring in all the other nations of the world to stop it?

5) Was removing Saddam inevitable?

6) Is there really any solution to any & all the problems in the Mid-East---any possibility of peace (including disbanding Israel)?

7) Could the Arab nations, tribal and always at war, ever unite under Islam against the West?

And....?

* Some real questions that many ppl have ignored in bashing George Bush.....

What if anything would we know today about the Iranian Nuke program?

But what we do know now is because we liberated Iraq!

Question: Would the 4000+ Americans killed in Iraq be a 'drop in the bucket' compared to the # lost in having to intervene in their wars (or maybe, just living on the earth post mini-nuke war!)??

And,

Question: Is the Liberal philosophy of 'anything' (from talking to the hands-off policy) to get peace NOW enuf to deter holocosts down the road??? (Like ignoring Hitler's rise and end up with a WW!)

...More Q's to be answered.

Right. Somehow we get the proper information and process it. We stop the hijackers from crashing into the WTC and, oh let's say, execute them. Saddam goes "Welp. We failed. Might as well stop my campaign of genocide and terrorizing the Kurds. Seeing as how I lost the first time around."

You do know that that was a lie. Yellow cake wasn't found.

The Threat of Saddam

Saddam and his regime were Sunnis'. Syrians are Sunnis'. The Saudi's are Sunnis'. But..Iran is a Shiite theocracy---an enemy to Iraq party in power. Saddam had some form of a nuke program as his top nuclear scientist said; but it was supposedly torn down & hid when the U.S. was talking about WMD's and threatening to invade.

Iraq and Iran had previously fought to a standoff with massive casualties on both sides with conventional weapons.

Both, if they were the first to get a nuke would immediately use it on the other nation...ergo, nuclear arms race, 'mini' being locally conducted.
