Back to the topic I agree Rahm is more of a centrist than he is a leftist, he just brings a reputation of getting things done, holding people accountable, which is a threat to the old school, game playing politicians on the hill.

Scary to the far right no place to hide, the right is so far to the right, that anything that comes close to center is a shift to the far left. Sad really.

What should really scare the far right is the expansion of Pres powers under the Bush yrs. All those legal, illegal expansions are still in play to be used or reigned in by Obama.

Ya know the signing statements, wire tapping, and the list goes on and on that Obama can now use. That old saying "whats good for the goose is good for the gander" OH BOY along with his Internet, text msg, community org, going on. If Obama really wants to go to the center or a little left of center he will be very hard to stop.

Now we hear Sen. Clinton maybe the next Sec. of State. Obama takes his wing of the Democratic party and merges Clinton's wing of the Democratic party and makes it all his wing. Very smooth move if Sen. Clinton accepts.

We don't know yet if Obama plans are going to work, with all his supposed lack of experience , or not. But I think we are seeing shrewed picks, in key positions. Picks he shouldn't be able to make with his lack of supposed experience.

Obama is moving with a plan, with purpose, and direction unlike we have seen in decades. Rahm is a key player he has the experience the game plan to move and shake up those on the hill who want to play old school politics...

Remember smart people who don't know what is what are smart enough to surround themselves with people who do. Obama is smart enough to know what he doesn't know and he is smart enough to surround himself with people who do know. That is what we are seeing at the moment with his picks for the Cabinet.
