Because dems were the ones that made it happen... the Republicans fought it. I don't care about McCain... McCain has always been a flake. It's simple guys... both bailouts were Democrat sponsered... the Dems own this 700 billion dollar mistake. |

yep... you can blame bush all day... but it wouldn't have happen if the dems didn't fight for it. dems voted 176 to the republicans 96... this was democrat legislation... you can' try and pretend all day, but the dems own it... just like the own the Iraq funding. People you have to pay attention to the details... Bush can't do half the things he has done with out Congressional approval... good or bad. The dems have been working very well with Bush (Congress 18% approval rating)... they like to pretend their anti-Bush but the record shows that Bush and the Democrat Congress works very well together. Need an example... the dems need 50 billion to pay off the UAW... Bush is going to provide it. Why? because Bush and the dems are a team. I can't wait to see how much more money the dems throw away when Bush leaves. We're lookng at 750 billion right now.. and Obama pandering promises haven't even been enacted yet. Can America afford the DIMS? |

| How much did we spend in Iraq over the last 5 years? How much has the dems thrown away in the last week? And still asking for more. Be honest... what do you think this 50 billion dollars is for? How is 50 billion dollars going to save the American auto industry considering the problems they have has nothing to do with lack of money. It has everything to do with how they operate. |

| he was until sometime today... he says he's going to sign it. I suspect the dems promises to support the Colombian free trade agreement he wants. Some kind of deal has been made. |

Dang this thing is playing out faster than a 30 minute soap opera. I guess bush already thinks that everybody hates him anyway so why not. Isnt it amazing how fast they can spend 700 billion? I remember when it used to take quite awhile. |
