Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Before you come back with snappy answers and calling me names PLEASE PLEASE actually read the Constitution first Then IF and ONLY IF you can find that statement in there you can freely Harrass me.
Nothing to ponder here....Seperation of church and state appeared in an exchange of letters between President Thomas Jefferson and the Baptist Association of Dabury, CT.
The election of President Jefferson-America's first Anti-Federalist President- elated many Baptist since that denomintion was, by-and-large strongly Anti-Federalist........Consequently, now having a President who had not only champoned the rights of Baptist in VA but who also advocated clear limits on the centralization of government powers, the Danbury Baptist wrote to Jefferson a letter the first part was a congradulations
the second part contained the
concern over the entire concept of the First Amendment: ......
The inclusion of Constitutional protection for the "free excercise of religion" suggested to the Danbury Baptist that the right was government-given (thus alienable) rather than God-given ( hence inaliable), and that therefore the government might someday attempts to regulate religious expression..........Jefferon replied to the group in a letter dated Jan 1, 1802.............."Believing
with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God: that he owes account to none other than his faith or his worship: that the legistlative powers of government reach actions only and not opinions, I contemplte with soverign reverence that act of the whole American people
which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof", thus building a wall of seperation betwen Church and State...........(contents taken from the book Original Intent by David Barton) the quote from Jefferson was taken from the book Jeffersons writtings vol. XVI ppg 281-282
SO Land Shark you are correct it is NOWHERE in the constitution..

Because it is not taught in public indoctrination centers referred to as public education.

Not exactly true.
The Guarantee of "Freedom of Religion" gives a person the right to practice (their faith) as they see fit, or to practice no religion at all.
So, that "Freedom OF Religion" would also mean "Freedom FROM Religion".

There's a simple way to look at that
Rep. are there to keep you poor and Dem. are there to remind you just how poor you really are

true....but we don't teach our kids to have the desire and drive to check it out and go the extra mile....when I started homeschooling my youngest he got upset one day........he read something in his History book and said why did'nt they teach me this in public school..........I told him that he had always had the opportunity to learn further past what a textbook has taught......that there was only so much time that could be devoted to a class......and it would always be up to him to go the extra mile and learn more.....sadly in the current PSS what they have chosen to highlight and concentrate on is not the basics that we learned .....it is an abridged version and often times skewed a bit to fit the mantra of the NEA....in my opinion that is.......even in church teach the kids don't take it hook line and sinker go to the Book and look it up and see if what they say is the truth or not! When the kids learn something at school we as parents need to be involved in what they are learning and when we see that they are not learning the whole story we can take the opportunity to educate them further ourselves........take them to historical re-enactments and towns......... watch the news togeateher and talk about the political things going on.......watch the c-span and explain things to the kids on how it works bring out older books that show/tell how the checks and balalnces are supposed to work.......show them the Constitution and Bill of Rights and and have them actually read it! If we don't take responsiblity for our childrens education then who will?

Your opinion is valid...also an understatement. The NEA is as anti-American, anti-education of an organization as "green peace".
