| So the marines didn't stand up and cheer when obama walked in. Big Deal. From what I have been told by an ex marine I know he can expect alot worse in the next 4 years. I was told that clinton didn't know how to properly salute, so his MARINE doormen on the chopper always turned their back on him. From what I was told they are supposed to face and salute him. Funny but I seem to recall that the MARINE HONOR GUARD for Bush ALWAYS face and salute him. Maybe I'm wrong maybe I'm not, but Comrade Barry is going to have to EARN the respect from the Marines. And you don't earn it by insulting the flag and the sacrifice that our military has made for the 2 centuries this country has existed. In My Opinion

I may not have followed in my dads footsteps into the military but it sure doesn't mean I disrespect them.I was raised in a military home, the navy paid for my education and my brother served for over 25 years. The sacrifices our men and women in uniform have made over the years is deserving of nothing less than respect from those of us in the private sector. Our freedom to express ourselves without fear of government retaliation is what has always set the USA apart from other countries. That freedom has been preserved and maintained by those who serve. I for one am very thankful that they guard our sleep and walk that wall!
