For those of you who limit your news to Entertainment Tonight, Caroline Kennedy is in line to take over Hillary Clinton’s Senate seat.

If my mom had to answer for all my mistakes.... yikes. Remember that old line from the Bible. Those that walk without sin shall cast the first stone. Here you go. What do you expect? Kids party. Did you? I did. Oh my, I had a great time. Glad I got it out my system, but man, I miss those days. You? Never? Are your parents proud of you? Mine are of me. The kids that walked the straight and narrow were also the kids that acted out later. Or ended up working for the IRS.

Especially if you come from a family of entitlements, where the rules dont apply....kind like Caroline 'smoozing' into the NY Senator seat---woudnt ever run for like the rest of the 'little ppl!'

The problem is that the Kennedy's' are the worst sinners and yet they still claim the "Victim" role.

The Kennedy's are not royalty as they believe and liberals believe as well.

They can't "Walk On Water", especially Teddy.

I for one believe that the very best of parents can indeed raise a child who when they reach their teens and then twenties can make some of the most horrendous life choices. Does it mean the parents are to blame? Not always the case. However, if you look at a family who generation after generation have the same attitude, same disregard for others, same addictions, and same refusal to accept personal responsibility then you must rationally realize that family is not the vestiage of morality. Should we in fact claim the Kennedy clan as the moral compass of this nation? I sincerely hope not. Did JFK do some good while in office? Yes, but then every president has done something good, but at what cost? Just because a man is brutally shot does not make him the Savior nor should it give his family a free ride on the no-personal responsibility train.

What Caroline Kennedy should do, in my humble and honest opinion is snatch that girl up by the hair of the head, pop her a few licks on the fanny and stick her into a very strict rehab program and then boot camp while she's still young enough for the law to allow Caroline Kennedy to do it.

It is always easier to question the QB on Monday after the weekend's games. I am a dad. My kids are 10,8,3,1. Boy, Girl, Girl, Boy. I was not the perfect kid and I am not the perfect dad. #4 will not get away with as much as #1. My girls... love me now, and are going to hate me at age 13-21. Hopefully they will love me again after. But thats me.

Kennedy, Smith, Jones, or even Hunt. Hopefully we are beyond that by now. History is yesterdays news. Our system is in place, and has worked for 230+ years. Want it to change? Do something about it. But leave the kids out of it. I suppose if it Ron Reagan that was the leader for the appointment, you would be ok with that...right? That is what I thought.

I suspect I was maybe 15 the first time I had a beer. Not that I'm excusing or endorsing underage drinking, but by a show of hands who here didn't drink alcohol until it was legal?

Now more mellow than ever.

Unfortunately there are more kids in College using drugs and Alcohol then many of us would want to know about. Both Clinton and Bush Jr did drugs and alcohol to some degree. Bush till he was in his forties. If he ever really stopped. I don't condon it but its a fact of life. Some of the posts here sounds as if others are so bitter with a few Kennedy's that they will slander EVERY Kennedy, not sure why. I remember that a few months ago people thought it was wrong to talk about Palins daughter, who is due to have a child next month...I stated in another post my hunch that Trig really is the daughters child not Sara's, that the daughter will claim to have had a miscarriage in late DEC/early Jan and people will let it rest. We will see.
