| Three bodies at the mortuary Three dead bodies turn up at the mortuary, all with very big smiles on their faces. The coroner calls the police to tell them what has happened. The Coroner tells the Inspector, "First body is a 72 year old Frenchman. He died of heart failure while with his mistress. Hence the enormous smile." "The second body is an Irishman, 25 years of age. He won a thousand dollars on the lottery and spent it all on whisky. Died of alcohol poisoning, hence the smile. " The Inspector asked, "What of the third body?" "Ah," says the coroner, "This is the most unusual one. Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, 66, struck by lightning." "Why is she smiling then?" inquires the Inspector. "Thought she was having her picture taken." |

| Little Help Please I have not received my annual statement from the Madoff financial group as of yet. If any one else out there is invested with them could you please tell me if you received yours? I'm starting to get just a little bit suspicious. I'm sure that with all the government watchdog agencies we pay for there couldn't be any thing wrong. That would be impossible with all the agencies and layers of government bureaucracy we're paying for to watch out for us. Thanks, |

| You might want to call a lawyer. As far as oversight..thats the problem with all the de-regulation and lack of govt oversight that the Repubs claim is so good to have and that they always want to push for. Now we see again what happens. We should have learned from the early 1900's but people have short memories or feel they can do the same thing as the past without making the same errors...We need a Trust Buster like Teddy R was...
