Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

OK, for those that do not have those nifty little icons to do quotes with, you can still set up a proper quote by doing the following:

[ quote ] at the beginning, just take out the extra spaces between the brackets and end the quoted portion with [ /quote ] without the extra spaces there as well. Just make sure the material you are quoting is between those, and it will appear properly in you post.

Better to put the link on the outside. Grading on hairpin curves with steep upgrades! LOL

As far as getting the Read more, type that in, highlight it, and click on the globe symbol. That opens a box that gives you a place to copy the site address into, creating the link without having to put the whole link into the post.

Notarps, that was for anyone that doesn't get the cool box with all the buttons. It wasn't directed at you. It can also be helpful for those quoting other posts.

Slick roads aren't the cause of pileups
2/2/09
Baltimore Sun, United States

Quote:
Two weeks ago this afternoon, an inch and a half of snow fell in Western Maryland.

It should have been no big deal. Snow has been falling in that location, near Myersville in Frederick County, since long before there was a Maryland.

What was different this time was that some of that snow fell on Interstate 70. Sometime after the snow began falling, there occurred a chain-reaction crash involving 47 vehicles, including six tractor-trailers. Two women died in the pileup. At least a dozen people were seriously injured. The Associated Press, quoting a state police spokeswoman, reported that "snow was at least partly to blame."

Interesting. Will Mr. Snow face manslaughter charges? How else do we hold Mr. Snow accountable?

Here is how I do an article...

THE RED highlight of the newspaper you don't have to do is all.

I do that because I work with alot of newspapers and we give each other stuff... lol so it's extra credit for them and extra stuff for me.

Root beer is a [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. originally brewed using [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. . Root beer, popularized in North America, comes in two forms: [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. and [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. . The historical root beer was analogous to [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. , in that the process provided a drink with a very low alcohol content. In spite of roots being used as the source of many soft drinks in many countries throughout the world (and even alcoholic beverages/beers, e.g. Ginger Beer and Dandelion & Burdock in the UK), the name root beer is almost unknown outside of the United States and Canada. Most other countries have their own indigenous versions of root-based beverages and small beers but with different names and branding.
