Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Bottom line? This incident just can't be considered in terms of individule visitors' importance (kindergarteners vs. Steelers) but must be considered in terms of scheduling and logistics. The White House and staff are very busy and sometimes cannot accomodate unexpected circumstance. Sure, it was unfortunate for those kids, but life ain't always fair.
Really? Why is this the only time this is recognized?

Come to think of it, the very title of this thread is misleading.
"White House staffers make five year olds cry"???
OH COME ON!!! Apparently unavoidable circumstance (being late) made those kids cry. Were the staffers expected to violate their own work orders to accommodate this lateness?
Five year olds nearly always cry when they're disappointed. It's a part of wondrous immaturity. Do we want to instill the message that you kids can show up as late as you want; someone will always hold the door open for you, because your time is more valuable, you know.

Me- "Sorry I'm late for work again Boss"

Boss- "You're fired"

Me- "Waaahhhh, bawl, sniffle"

Bad boss; bad, bad boss; he made me cry...

OMG THE HORROR!!!! A tour group showed up an hour late and wasn't let in. I don't know why this hasn't made front page news in every paper in the country. I mean this is the biggest outrage ever!! Seriously is this what you guys have been reduced to being outraged over?

And yet again........Rex, you're choosing to misconstrue the entire point. You're so busy trying to defend Obama you can't even make a logical argument on this issue.

Now, you're stating yet another opinion on this issue. You're waffling, you're contradicting yourself. Oh wait........you're a democrat......never mind.

Not me ambulance boy. I think it's a simple case of a tour guide made a booboo. And come Tuesday morning she'll be chewed out.
