Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

We would not need Border volunteers if we:

Went to our Governments, banks, the utility companies and demand, not ask...DEMAND that "Press 2 for English" is not an option......

Demand that everything from our ballots to our DMV booklets be printed in ENGLISH ONLY......

Demand that illegals do not get any employement and make it a felony to hire, house, or aid them in anyway except for medical emergencies.

Demand that our government treat illegals like Mexico treats illegals in their country....They Deport them.....

The US can no longer support any nation that shoves their poor our way......

We have to take care of our citizens first....

How about our government demand that countries like Mexico fix and clean their house and take care of their people instead of sending them up our way....

And a "medical emergency" meaning a broken bone, a cut requiring stitches, etc.
NOT an earache, tummy ache, need prenatal care, need vitamins for my kid, need condoms/tubal ligation, etc. et al.

Or same unload, Missoula, MT...February....outside trailer -18 degrees...inside who cares it's just too damn cold!

Although you chose to ignore my question you did suggest (just as I suspected) that "equality" in economics be addressed.

So, let's address "equality" in economics...liberal style.

As stated in other threads, for 70+ years elected MISrepresentatives have made a valiant attempt at "equality"...in THEIR OPINION and we are currently living the results, i.e. a MESS in the financial and housing INDUSTRY (markets).

Then the alledged knowledgable, the elitist psuedo intellectuals and parrot press corps blame "free markets and capitalism", demonize and villify success and DEMAND MORE EQUALITY.

So, by who's definition of "equality" are we (the MASTERS of elected SERVANTS) to abide by? Our own, as The Constitution was written to protect, defend and preserve, or a group of psuedo intellectuals who have NEVER had a "real job" and demonize success, then use it as a tool for class warfare rhetoric?

Equality is a RIGHT guaranteed at CONCEPTION only (provided you haven't been aborted). "ALL men are created equal" and BECAUSE ALL men are created "equal", inside the borders of These United States THAT "equality" is supposed to be protected, defended and preserved.

IF elected MISrepresentatives would stick to THEIR job and STOP "opinionating" THEIR determination of "equality" in the name of "the greater good" for "the will of the people" MORE natural "equality" would occur through "natural means"...

For thinking citizens to "trust" the opinion of someone else over their own is asanine, especially in a "term/phrase" as ambiguous as "equality of economics" with 70+ years of FAILED opinion making us the laughing stock of the world.

So, "equality of economics"....there are ONLY two ways that will EVER happen, successfully...raise the standard, or lower the standard of one or the other. Which do you prefer? Congress apparently would rather "lower ours".
And while that might be considered "my" opinion, I would say to those who feel that way...which direction are we headed?
Where are the actions of congress and POTUS's leading us?

"Equality of economics" is best obtained by raising the standard of everyone. NOT lowering the standard of THE STANDARD SETTERS of the world.

I know liberals don't want us to be, but we are the example to the world of what Freedom and Liberty and PROTECTED Individual rights can accomplish when unimpaired, unrestricted and unoppressed.

"The will of the people" is NOT what made this the greatest nation in the history of the world. Individual effort unimpeded, unrestricted, unoppressed has raised the standard of living for ANYONE AND EVERYONE who "chooses" to participate in OUR "free markets"...prior to gov't take over.

But since "recent HISTORY" is ignored by psuedo intellectual elitists ...we'll provide "current events"...representatives my ###! But I digress...just WHO AND WHAT is "equality of economics"? Who's OPINION at achieving are we to use as "definitive"?

Theirs, yours, mine,Mexico's,Canada's, maybe Venezuela's...

The ONLY real "equality" that can be achieved is "Constitutionally protected Individual RIGHTS." AND we have "legal means" of obtaining citizenship, and we have THE MORAL OBLIGATION to protect and defend THE BIG PICTURE, not circumstance and evidence for "legislation and mandating AWAY "equality of economics"...

And I don't apologize for ranting....and I ain't "pickin on anyone in particular...I am pointing out "the obvious".

to "going2fast10", sincerly meant!

WOW! well said!
I mean this as a compliment. you are way too intelligent to be a truck driver! You sound like some one who should be on tv or radio. You express yourself well and in a way that the common man can understand. Are you sure that trucking is the carreer you should be in?
I would like to meet you someday and buy you a cold frosty adult beverage. I would love to hear more of your polictal views.

no just have stuff to do

there was really nothing in this thread that I wanted to address just a comment

so everyone doesn't miss understand I am not promoting any course of action I look at this like a force of nature
like trying to keep cows in an overgrazed pasture when there is green grass on the other side of a fence they will find away to it

The only thing that will change is if the ethier there jobs get better on there side or unavalible on our side

all the walls will do no good all the border patrols it is all just a finger in the dike at best

I do think that most of this problem is on Mexico but they have no reason to solve it in fact it is in there interest to continue the status quo

If my neighbor had cows and they were getting on my land due to a dilapidated fence and ruining my crops, I would first address the problem with the neighbor. If the neighbor's attitude is "well, I can't control my cows and I can't afford a new fence", I would take the matter into my own hands and fix the damned fence, reinforce it making sure that it is built like a stockade, thus making sure the cows don't get out onto my property again. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If a miracle occurred and a cow was cunning enough to figure out how to pole vault him/herself over that fence, I would make sure to make an example of that cow for all the other cows. THAT cow wouldn't be pole vaulting again. This way the other cows would know I was serious about it.
