Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

People that think fossil fuels aren't renewable are just impatient.

RE newable...or RE usable...words mean things.
OIL is RE newable...other "stuff" RE usable.
So, by that can we assume the oil industry will be allowed to thrive?

Carbon dioxide...RE newable...RE usable? Words mean things.

Solar "power"...????
Hydro "power"..????
Wind "power"....????

RE newable...RE usable?

Converting energy from one form to another is....????

petroleum is not really renewable except in geologic terminology...

petroleum is hydrocarbons that have been locked beneath the earth for hundreds of millions of years. the last time that this carbon was in the atmosphere, the earth was not inhabited by humans and likely not by any recognizable animal forms reptile or mamal.

solar, hydro, and wind are not technically renewable though they are the most green potential energy sources.

renewable is utilizing carbon from our current carbon cycle, converting plants back into energy. zero net additional carbon realeased.

doing the math, we are so over populated that plants as a fuel source is ridiculous... we can't replace them as fast as we'd use them... (sorry al)

coal and petrol is here until its gone... we are just kidding ourselves thinking anything else... though I would prefer conserving so it lasts as long as possible. (rationing)

I don't think there is seriously even enough raw materials to solar ourselves out of energy debt. sun shines peak and at best 8 hours a day meaning we are missing 2/3rds potential...

sci-fi: best bet:

plant a factory on the moon making solar panels... and beam the energy to earth with microwaves... yadda yadda yadda... to many people, why bother we'll out grow our food supply pretty soon anyways... then the disease comes... then the problem is solved... population reduced and plenty to go around... humans are as stupid as rabbits...

Renewable energy is when I turn the lights off, then pull the switch and they come back on..

Petroleum is still...the key word STILL is being made.......

We are far from completely running out....
The problem is that Libs can't get over Santa Barbra 1969......
So even if presented with a plan to become self-sufficient like Brazil...our liberals say NO!!!!!
