Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Here's How You Tell If Health Care Will Be Rationed Under ObamaCare

Quote:
Here is a handy-dandy way to determine whether the failure to order some exam or treatment constitutes rationing: If the patient were the president, would he get it? If he'd get it and you wouldn't, it's rationing.

Do we really think EVERYONE would get the same care the President would?

I think if you had the same doctor, yes you would... provided you and the president weren't there at the same time...

the primary scare tactic from the ditto-heads has been they'll ration health care...

health care is rationed right now... I have to make an appointment and wait my turn and cardiac arrest takes precedent over the sniffles.

now if your rich enough to afford a personal physician there may be no waiting??? but for everyone with insurance you get triaged and an appointment set.

the real money savings, it is hoped, will come from preventative care which is much cheaper than treating diseases that are plenty preventable and when caught early are very treatable vs waiting until you are screwed to the wall to go see the doctor and only heroic treatments will prolong your expiration date by a few months.

What about the triage based on how well the patient took care of themselves....
I gave up smoking over 25 years ago...Obama still smokes....therefore...I am a much better risk than Obama, and I should be treated for my hangnail before Obama gets a set of new lungs...after all....he did it to himself right?

Only one small insignificant difference:
the way it is now, if you don't like what you get, you can get "it" from someone else.
Not so with "Government" Health Care. If you don't like what you are getting........where else do you go, Cuba?
