Truckers' Trucking Forum/Message Board - The Premiere Truck Driver Forum

Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

It is my belief that the White House KNEW that there were never any WMD and yet cynically invaded a soveriegn nation anyway.

So why did we invade a country and overthrow it's government? Well, we could debate that for hours, but WMD sure wouldn't be one of the reasons.

I think that most of our fellow citizens are feeling pretty suckered these days regarding the Iraq invasion.

Look at this way...the world is minus one despot.......

Perhaps we could do same to Chavez and some others...
Why do you think Kaddafi keeps quiet.....he knows we'll call his bluff...

Why did we invade a country and overthrow it's Government?
  1. Continued violations of the Gulf War 1 "Cease-Fire" agreements.
  2. Numerous violations of one U.N. Resolution after another.
  3. Iraqi Liberation Act, signed into law Oct 31, 1998 by Clinton
  4. The FACT that IRAQ was rebuilding their Chemical/Nuclear capabilities
  5. The REAL threat that Iraq would deliver weapons and/or components to terrorists

Bomb away? As if he even amounted to a pimple on a gnat's ### a far as representing a threat to us.
Plenty of other despots have weapons of mass destruction- should we "bomb away" them as well?

So by YOUR logic....better leave NK alone, huh?
I mean what kind of a threat could he possibly be? By YOUR logic(?).
